According to Merriam Webster, the definition of a real estate agent is: “A person in the business of selling land and buildings.” Yes, that is what I do, but my approach to real estate takes it a step further. While working with clients, I listen to their wishes, and work with them. Every aspect of the transaction is important to me. From the area they would like to live in, to the amenities and styles they desire, to finding it all within their budget. It is also very important that my clients feel comfortable enough to discuss their concerns and questions. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest and most expensive decisions we make in our adult lives. Therefore, no question is a dumb question. Having an open dialogue of communication is what I strive for.
Real estate has been my career since my move in 2012 from Michigan, where I was a teacher. My background in education has helped hone my real estate skills. It has given me the ability to be able to explain all aspects of purchasing or selling a home to my clients in easily understood terms.
Many of my clients are first time home buyers and those that are relocating to our area. I am a provider for Brookfield, and have helped several RCMP members that have relocated to the Windsor area. After almost 9 years in real estate, I have many repeat client and referrals from my past clients.
Changing my career to real estate is something I have no regrets over. I have met so many great people and helping them into the next chapter of their lives is such a blessing to me. Whether my clients were downsizing, purchasing a larger home for their growing family, or selling to move out of the area, I did my best to make them feel as if they were my only client. If you are looking to buy or sell, I look forward to being, “The key to your peace of mind,” for your real estate transition.
